Award Winners at IPUF 2023

Since its inception in 1993, the aim of the Indigenous Plant Use Forum (IPUF) has been to “promote the cultural, socio-economic and scientific benefits derived from the sustainable use of the southern African flora”.

Exceptional students are recognised each year, receiving certificates and cash prizes. A sponsorship from the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) enhanced the monetary value of the student prizes, and Mr Vuyisile Hobololo, Head Indigenous Knowledge Systems (TIA) presented the certificates and money prizes to these exceptional students.
